ULTRASONIC TESTING

UT

Ultrasonic testing (UT) is a technique used to assess the thickness or internal structure of a test component by utilizing high-frequency sound waves. The frequencies employed in ultrasonic testing are significantly higher than the range of human hearing, typically ranging from 500 kHz to 20 MHz This method provides a non-destructive way to inspect materials and identify potential issues within the tested object.

Magnetic Particle testing

MPI

Magnetic particle testing (MPT), is a non-destructive testing method used to detect surface and near-surface flaws in ferromagnetic materials. Ferromagnetic materials are those that can be magnetized, such as iron, nickel, and certain alloys. In magnetic particle testing, the test component is magnetized using a magnetic field. If there is a surface or near-surface discontinuity (such as a crack or fissure) in the material, magnetic particles (usually iron filings or other small magnetic particles) are applied to the surface. These particles are attracted to and accumulate around the magnetic field leakage created by the flaw, making the flaw visible to the inspector.

LIQUID PENENTRATE TESTING

Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT), commonly known as dye penetrant testing or penetrant inspection, is a non-destructive testing method used to detect surface-breaking defects in materials. This technique is particularly effective for identifying cracks, porosity, and other discontinuities in the surface of various materials, including metals, plastics, ceramics, and composites.Liquid penetrant testing is a widely used and cost-effective method for detecting surface defects. It is commonly employed in industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and welding inspections.

Radiography testing
